Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart for following me and trusting me to provide you with sound sleep advice for your little one! To start let me tell you a little bit about myself and Nested Sleep.
I’m a mama of two, a pediatric nurse practitioner, and a trained professional in sleep. All of my personal and professional experiences have lead me here… to help families sleep better! My passion is teaching families how to navigate the world of sleep using the best evidence based techniques. Through this blog and private consulting I will be evaluating current sleep research and bringing it to you in an easy to read understandable way to help as your children grow. I have my doctorate in nursing and believe that the best way to spread my knowledge of sleep is providing a blog that explores common childhood sleep issues and how to address them. For those that need a little more guidance and 1:1 support I will be individually working with clients through private consultation packages.
Now let’s talk a little bit about Nested Sleep and how a sleep consultant can help families. We know that in our society we are doing a lot as parents. Washing the clothes, doing the dishes, watching the kids, doing the jobs. When it comes to sleep let’s face it, we need it! Nested Sleep is here to help you with the dirty work to get your babies and kids sleeping when your plate it too full.
Be an independent parent and be proud when you have succeeded, but also be a parent who realizes the value and importance of opening the door for help when you need it. You can do it alone, but you don’t have to.
Although the shelves are filled with books with a lot of good sleep advice, parents always tell me they find books contradictory, confusing, and not always applicable to their specific needs. With my clinical background and experience I can hone in on your child’s sleep problems; use a variety of behavioral techniques to teach you how to solve them; develop a personalized, step-by-step sleep plan; and coach you along the way to ensure sleep success!
As I start this blogging journey please let me know what you as parents and the community are interested in hearing about!
