EPISODE 10 SHOW NOTES
In this month’s episode, I was excited to talk with local Loudoun County pediatric and perinatal chiropractor, Dr. Emilie Quinn. Emilie had her own personal experience with chiropractic care while growing up, which led her to pursue a career as a chiropractor. After battling very debilitating symptoms from long-term birth control use, she then made the decision to help women who are on similar journeys, specifically in the perinatal period. Emilie now has a passion for providing quality chiropractic care for not just moms and babies, but the entire family. As she continues to provide a well-rounded, holistic approach for her patients, she knows this is the work she was destined to do.
Emilie and I talk all about the ripple effects of chiropractic care – specifically, more about what the initial chiropractic visits for kids, adults, and families, and what ongoing, healing care can look like. We also discuss what various treatment options that can alleviate pain relief for moms during pregnancy and postpartum, the many benefits for babies and children receiving chiropractic care, the positive impact on your long-term health as you develop a deeper relationship with your chiropractor (compared to just a one-time visit here and there), and more.
It’s important to remember that you must look at the bigger picture when it comes to your health, because everything is connected. The ripple effects of chiropractic care are pretty remarkable, so if you’re looking to get started with a chiropractor for you and/or your family, you won’t want to miss all of the value shared in this episode!
Dr. Emilie is originally from Cinnaminson, New Jersey, a small town just outside of Philadelphia. She earned her Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology from Temple University in 2017. Thatʼs when she decided to follow her heart, and continuous signs from the universe, to Life University, in Marietta, GA. There, she earned her Doctorate of Chiropractic in June of 2021 and has been mastering her skill since.
Throughout her high school and college years she worked multiple jobs, babysitting, daycare centers, and waitressing. Working with the kiddos always filled her heart and that passion only grew during chiropractic school. After seeing miracles for families first hand, during shadowing and intern opportunities, she knew pediatric and family chiropractic care was what she was destined to do. Dr. Emilie has trained her craft extensively with Pediatric Experience, ICPA, and Kairos Training Community. She has completed over 45 additional learning seminars and is Webster certified through the ICPA. In the community she is a member of the BNI Business Defenders in Purcellville, regularly attends Loudoun County Chamber of Commerce events, and having coffee with other local businesS owners.
